We made this place because we didn’t have one ourselves. Both our professional and amateur creative practices needed other collaborators — so when we asked our friends if they also were seeking something like this, and the answer was an emphatic “oh god yes”, we started doodling and writing and organizing and sharing, and eventually we found ourselves here.

There are no rules around how much or how little you participate this community (hello wallflowers). It’s also cool if the phrase “creative practice” is new for you. Sketching and journaling are great places to start. There are dancers and musicians and journalists and ceramicists in our community. You get to decide how your creativity makes its way into the world.
So sign up! See where the weekly prompts take you. Get inspired by other member’s work. Attend one of our monthly creative circles and use the time to think, make, dream, and hear to other people’s work. Make something messy and unfinished and send it to us (tag us or email it in).
Allow it to set you free.
Then free someone else.

Creative Circle
The first Wednesday of every month — we meet! This is our creative circle where the good stuff goes down. The session is 90 minutes and begins at 7pm ET. You have the option to meet in person or via our virtual hangout (they’re connected). You’ll get the links / address each week in your inbox.

Weekly Prompt
Every Wednesday we’ll share a prompt (check your inbox / Instagram). It will be a word, sentence, question, image, that’s totally up to us sorry we’re your capricious but benevolent dictators now. Responses can be in the form of poetry, sketches, prose, an audio file of your sound collage, that’s up to you.
